Would you believe it?

The weather's the best it's been so far this year (apart from our freaky three days in Wales at the beginning of the month). Wonderful weather to sit out in.

I've had a couple of long walks over the past week or so, and that's been very enjoyable.

It's wonderful weather to cruise in, too, so, it has to be time to leave the marina and venture out on the cut, right?

But, no. It was not to be. The Alde gas boiler has developed a fault and needs to be seen by an expert. We could do without it, but that would mean showering in cold water each morning, and Grace doesn't like the idea of that! So we have to wait for our friendly mechanic to come and sort the flipping thing out.

Sigh.
